Betting systems are a methodology for increasing winnings by following betting rules. This means that the UK bingo player increases or decreases his bets based on whether he wins or loses in the preceding hand. The player does not play based on his hunches – he places his bets based on a prescribed betting methodology. Betting systems are not new and there are a variety of them.

One of the oldest betting bingo systems for Blackjack is the Martingale System.  The Martingale system is based on a simple premise.  If the player loses a hand, he doubles his bet for the next hand. If he wins, he recoups his losses.  If not, he doubles the bet again and keeps doing this until he wins.  When he wins, he wins an amount based on the larger bet and should recoup all or most of his losses. The casino gambling player can’t continually lose so sooner or later he will win.  When the player wins, he then lowers his bet to the original level and plays at that betting level until he loses again.  Assume the player’s original betting level is $5.  He loses on the $5 level and doubles his bet to $10 for the next hand.

If he wins, he lowers his bet to $5.  If he loses, he doubles his bet to $20.The Martingale system cannot be successful when there are betting limits. A prolonged losing streak has the player placing large bets. When he reaches the betting limit, he can’t increase his bet enough to follow the system’s prescribed betting.
